تعلن منظمة اطباء بلا حدود عن توفر الشواغر التالي :

 

1-Medical Liaison Officer

 

Dimension of the project

  • Reconstructive Surgery Hospital with in average 600 admissions per year,
  • Over 1000 surgeries annually.
  • 72 surgical beds and 126 rehabilitation beds.
  • 2 OTs for orthopedic, maxillo-facial and plastic surgeries,
  • OPD with in average 550 consultations / month.
  • Physiotherapy and psychosocial department and a micro laboratory within the hospital.                          

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Patients’ identification, referral and follow-up:
  • Identify and screen patients who can be admitted to MSF Amman surgical program
  • Be the focal point for referrals and consultations for patients in assessment process at OPD in Al Mowasah
  • Follow-up the patients after discharge according to the surgical plan and patients’ admission manager instructions
  • Prepare and submit patients’ medical files to Admissions Manager for Validation Committee presentation
  • Ensure the list of cases to be admitted after monthly request numbers from Patients’ Admission Manager
  • Organize Patients + family caretakers referral processes after scheduling
  • Brief the patients (main rules of the hospital, code of conduct etc…)
  • Carry Medical fitness screening for the family caretakers
  • Networking and program representation activities:
  • Extension of the network (NGOs, hospitals, care delivers, field workers) in order to assess Syrian community needs in the field of reconstructive surgery and ensure a better access to patients
  • Liaison with other agencies’ staff in the field (especially refugees’ camps) in order to integrate MSF activities in the implemented referral systems
  • Communication in Jordan related to RSP criteria and frames of follow-up

 

THE JOB PROFILE:

 

  • Recognized medical doctor diploma/degree.
  • At least 2 years working with a medical structure in Jordan dealing with the Syrian patients (preferred).
  • Experience in a surgical ward for orthopedic, plastic and/or maxillofacial surgeries would be an asset.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English and Arabic are mandatory.
  • Flexibility to travel between governorates in Jordan.
  • Good command on Microsoft Office.
  • Team Worker and good level of communication.
  • Autonomy and development skills.
  • Respect of confidentiality.
  • Diplomacy, good communication and interpersonal skills.

 

WORK LOCATION:          Al Mowasah Hospital in Marka, Amman

CONTRACT:                      6 month fixed term contract – Full Time

Probable start date:      1st February 2020

2- Driver

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Checking daily, the technical conditions of the assigned vehicle (state of the tires, oil, fuel, brakes, spare parts, etc.), performing weekly check according to the MSF Logbook, refilling it when necessary, and keeping it clean to ensure it can be driven in perfect conditions. Carrying out a hand over if another uses the vehicle.
  • Ensuring the security of passengers in the vehicle, driving carefully, observing speed limits and traffic rules in Jordan as well as MSF security rules, in order to avoid car accidents.
  • Ensuring all passengers have all necessary papers in order before travelling.
  • Ensuring that all vehicle documents and the driver’s driving license are valid and in the vehicle.
  • Informing the line manager of any incident involving the transportation of passengers and/or goods
  • Knowing and respecting the security rules related to vehicle movements, specifically those related to customs, checkpoints and roadblocks. Ensuring all passengers know and respect the security rules.
  • Perform other additional activities upon request.

                                                                                                                                                                                

PROFILE

  • Must possess a valid driver license, type 5
  • At least two years relevant and proved experience as a Driver, preferably with an international organization .
  • Excellent knowledge in driving practices & places within Jordan .
  • Good knowledge of mechanics .
  • Able to work under pressure, calm, patient .
  • Flexibility .
  • Good Driving skills .
  • Knowledge of driving rules and procedures in Jordan
  • English speaking at beginner level
  • Jordanian nationality.
  • Preferably non-smokier.
  • Able to lift 25kgs.

WORK LOCATION:           Amman – Jordan with frequent movements in the country

CONTRACT:                        Fixed term contract – Full Time
