Information Security Specialist

The ideal candidate will provide the vision and strategies necessary to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company electronic information by communicating risk to senior administration, creating and maintaining enforceable policies and supporting processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

1. Design and enforce all security standards, procedures and guidelines.
2. Manage Audit & Security Monitoring solutions and dashboards.
3. Administer and manage the IT Security Incident Management Process.
4. Monitor the network and provide early warning of abnormalities or problems.
5. Analyze existing security systems and make recommendations for changes or improvements.
6. Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
7. Perform risk assessments, present recommendations for risk mitigation options.
8. Develop, maintain and implement security awareness training programs
9. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of information security activities:

• Access Management
• Vulnerability Assessments
• Penetration Testing
• Infrastructure Regulatory Compliance

Qualifications and Skills

• 3+ years of prior relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, a related field
•  CISSP, GIAC, GSEC or others are preferred
• Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS) 
• Knowledge in managing SEIM, SOC & IDS 
• Experience with Intrusion Prevention Systems and Tools
• Understanding of Risk Management Frameworks
