Finance Specialist – GBS Front Office

The Power Grids business delivers products, systems, service and software solutions as part of its comprehensive power & automation offering for the grid across the power value chain – serving utility, industry, transportation and infrastructure customers.
You as a Finance Specialist – GBS Front Office, will be part of Power Grids business based in Manama; Bahrain. Reporting to the Country HR Manager, you are responsible for supporting overall financial statement preparation by executing accurate and timely completion of accounting activities in compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements.
Your Responsibilities
- Accounting :Performing general accounting activities, applying techniques and standards to solve unusual issues.
- Analysis : Executing accounting analyses and reports as assigned.
- Reporting : Ensuring the production of reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations, statements of sourcing, and application of funds.
- Investigation : Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary.
- Financial transactions : Applying accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions.
- Internal controls : Participating in internal control testing and prepares relevant documentation.
- Risk assessment : Supporting management with financial aspects of project funding and risk assessment.

Your background
- A Bachelor’s degree in commerce or finance.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in finance , accounting , account receivable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong skills at excel in ERP, SAP.
- Bahraini Nationals preferred .
